Agreed several mocks have supremely talented guys like Kai Jones, Garuba, Butler, Christopher, Prkacin falling in the twenties. Hell you can pick up a Capela clone in Bassey with FT shooting capability in the second. This draft IMO is loses with guys who can help teams all across the board
Agreed. My perfect scenario is Evan Mobley - Josh Christopher - Charles Bassey in the first round. I would also try to scoop a 2nd round pick to draft a guy falling (Bagley or Boston?) or to get someone like Bennedict Mathurin. You pull that off and re-sign Brown, Olynyk and Nwaba and next year can be a turn around year getting close to .500 with a mixture of Vets and young players. Wall - Augustin KPJ - Gordon - Brown Tate - Christopher Mobley - Martin Wood - Olynyk - Bassey I think there would need to be a rotation in the backcourt that got KPJ minutes at the 1. You would probably also need to have one of Bassey or Olynyk on the floor with Wood and Mobley most of the time to avoid them being abused down low.
This is a good draft at the top 5-6 spots, after that there is a lot of parity through pick 20. After that there are a fair amount of value guys that may turn out good. It is also why if our pick falls to 6-7 and the Thunder get it, it will hurt but not as much
Love this kid. Absolute beast on defense, on perimeter as well as defending rim. Also a greyhound in transition, specializes in defense > offense.
We should say the same thing when we bring in a black player. Yes more black guys! Anyone object to that?
https://www.nbadraft.net/nba-mock-drafts/ Why does Draft.net have Houston picking 3 late first? I thought this was correct. Portlands Pick Bucks Pick Based on what they said it looks like that is the Heats pick?
He is definitely more explosive. I guess I was referring to both being more energy guys than skilled guys. Not going to get you many points but will do a lot of the stuff that helps you win at the end of the day. In another thread I compared him to Thybulle. How do you think they compare?
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cb...s-no-2-but-margin-is-thin-among-top-five/amp/ CBS Sports had us getting... 1. Cade Cunningham 17. Corey Kispert 24. Jalen Johnson That's 3 guys shooting over 40% from three. I would faint if we get this lucky.
That's not correct. We will only get 3 picks. Either 1-4, ~19,~24, or if we fall out of top four we get ~16, ~19, ~24. The second scenario okc will get our pick at #5.
Jalen Johnson at 24 would be a steal! Kid has red flags for off court stuff but his talent is undeniably lottery level. 6'9 point forward who is at his best in transition, in half court he looks most efficient as catch and shoot 3baller (44% from 3P) and averages double digit rebounds and over 1 steal and 1 block a game.
