it occurs to me if OP bought too much of the stuff he could sell it now on the CF classifieds. new or used, makes no difference. or perhaps he can sell just the unwanted and unconsumed broth

I don't think any ramen is fancy, but I don't eat the packet kind, so I know you're not asking about ME, but I had Tatsu-Ya last week. Added the hottest "bomb". All of it. Drank the broth. And **** bad for like 4 days.

If you're talking cup ramen, hell no. Instant packaged ramen which you can cook in a pot.. yes.

If you let the cheap ass cook-on-the-stove Ramen noodles sit for 10 minutes after cooking, the noodles drink all of the broth. Problem solved.

Ramen Tatsu-ya will change anyones idea of 20 cent ramen in the store. Soma is where I first had a true version of it.

Did y'all know that folks in Japan will travel miles to get Ramen?

I'm not a big traveler, but my bucket list is this place in Japan.

Very rarely eat Maruchan anymore. That said, I've had my fair share. I always boiled them, drained off ALMOST all the water..not all. Then mixed in that sodium/msg laden concoction.

Instructions call for 2 cups of water. I always use 1.25 cups. And if you let it set for a bit after cooking, the noodles soak up most of the remaining water.

No. the purpose of the broth is to give flavor to the noodles. If I wanted to drink broth I'd buy real bone broth.

I like making it without broth. Just boil/drain the noodles and shake out the spice pack onto them.
