Not exactly a trade but would there be a way to restructure Wood's contract to give him a max frontloaded contract starting next year? Like he can have 35M next year but in 3 years when we need cap again he'll only be at around 15M. That way we can lock him up and get him paid while still maintaining cap flexibility for when we can contend again. Seems like a way better way to spend capspace than overpaying some randos.
I am not a huge fan of MPJ due to defensive liability but also never thought he was a realistic trade option. Surely Nuggets would not give up on a talented 6'10 SF/SG. But their patience maybe wearing thin, Malone has made him a scapegoat, targeting him openly. https://tradenba.com/trades/pJT8fp7Df DEN: Victor Oladipo, Danuel House PHI: PJ Tucker ORL: Gary Harris, Ben McLemore, Mason Jones + Pistons FRP HOU: Michael Porter Jr, Aaron Gordon, Mo Bamba, Matisse Thybulle 6'5 Porter/6'4 Wall 6'3 EGo/6'5 Sterling/6'5 Thybulle 6'10 MPJ/6'5 Nwaba 6'8 AG/6'4 Tate/6'6 KJ 6'10 Wood/7'0 Bamba/6'11 Patton

I've said this before, we're never going to see another Hakeem, stop dropping his name. Nobody will ever draft another Hakeem ever again. He is a GOAT, and in my book, top 5 all-time. Other franchises have done way better than us in building through the draft. Look no further than Spurs or Mavs who took unwanted assets and produced playoff-capable rosters and ridiculously good systems. We're not that franchise, we've never been able to do that.
I’m getting tired of waiting for trades. any expectations on when the trades actually start coming through? Just at the deadline? Or in march when everyone is eligible to be traded?
Haven’t a clue why you posted this. What has Stone done so far that gives you this impression?? I understand the the history behind Ainge/Riley being shrewd negotiators (more like a pain in the arse) but by all indications Stone has shown that he’s a Huckleberry himself, or at the very least hasn’t done anything drastically stupid. (Hope we don’t regret the Jarret Allen/Caris LeVert conspiracy) ....... ....... .......
