I think it’s very obvious EG was against the Westbrook trade, and by extension, the Capela trade. Several comments he’s made over the last few months seem to point to this.
I feel like players are actually always getting overvalued on here I mean, there was talk of Russ being traded for the 3rd pick from Charlotte or the 8th pick from the Knicks when in reality he had pretty much zero value if Eric Gordon was on a good contract, he wouldn’t require assets to move, but we all know he does
Nah... I think many players including Harden were upset at the all in small ball that failed. It didn't work and we lost a big piece for it. The OGs remember that and blame Morley.
Totally agreed. This was not one of those "hindsight is 20-20" deals either. It was a head-scratcher at the time and has only gotten worse as time has gone on.
Well, it's good to know Gordon isn't a moron. I'd be pissed if a championship team was dismantled in front of my own eyes too...
Capela would’ve beasted tonight. The guards set cousins up for some easy baskets in the roll and he jsut couldn’t convert. This game wouldn’t have been close if we had even a Larry nance jr. Cousins missed 10 shots at the rim tonight. That cringeworthy
Yes. I’m impressed by his regained explosiveness this year, but the guy has blinders and no conscious. That last possession tonight, he wasn’t passing no matter what.
I'm pissed that EGo fooled me into thinking he is a true 3 point champion. I'm starting to think he tampered the ball.
That was the nail in the coffin. Acquiring Westbrick was the 1st domino to fall- Followed by small ball- Alot of good analytics did for that squad.
I'm an EG stan, or rather I'm one of 4 people on this board that don't hate his play, and even I thought the contract Morey gave him was sus.
