It shall be no coincidence that both Harden and Doncic were picked at 3rd. Just get those comparisons going.
Youre post totally missed the point. Someone is gonna always be #1 YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TYPE OF PLAYER THEY WILL BE. Anyone who says they knew is a liar. You never know who is gonna be a superstar and who is not which is why some of the NBA's best players werent even lottery picks. For D-Rock to declare there is no one of substance in the next draft is silly because there is no way he can know that. Some of the best scouts ever dont know that for sure.
Yeah and Hasheem Thabeet was taken at #2 by Memphis and Curry the best shooter ever went at #7. Too bad Memphis didnt have D-Rock and Roslolian two guys who know everything and are the best scouts ever on their scouting team LMAO
Oh I agree with you no one can really know but some things are sure like Doncic being top 2 player in his class at worst. Dude is Euro MVP at 18 yrs old Euroleague is the 2nd most competitive league in the world its a lot harder than college. Getting MVP there is way better than anything you can do in the NCAA much more at his age. Thats why it was a sure thing for Doncic. When Sac chose Bagley lots of people knew right away they ****ed up and when Atlanta TRADED down to get Trae "Hobo Curry" Young I knew they made their biggest mistake in the last decade.
We werent talking about draft positioning. Rock was saying the next draft had no one and Im saying theres no way for him to know if there are any stars in there are not. There may be. Who knows.
Getting a big would cost Tillman money so it ain't happening. I mean we got Jarret Allen, but LTS was more important.
With some shooting... In short, a capable defensive anchor on defense and a spacer on offense. This is not new. All teams need this kind of big. Wood isn't really a center. He plays more like a PF.
