Harden has never had a player like Durant. Durant is a monster and they are going to be a serious threat. That’s without Kyrie.
Oh yeah? How long have you been watching the league? Harden came into the league being carried by not just "a player like Durant" but by Durant himself. After years of trying to be a top star he realized he wasn't cut out for it, so he wanted to go back to being carried.
Have we done this yet?? Kevin Martin Jeremy Lamb Steven Adams Mitch McGary (lol) Alex Abrines (don't even!) For Expirings 4 first rounders 4 swaps Looks better that way, no?
Man, this really sucks. So for the core of the team that went to the western finals led by paul and harden we got, 2 years later we got: Oladipo on an expiring deal ( still unsure how good he is after the injury) Wall ( looking good so far, lets hope he doesnt break down) 3 first rounders and 2 swaps ( im discounting the 2 picks and 2 swaps we gave away for WB). I dont think this is a great haul for a perenial mvp player and a pg that even at 37 is still valuable in this league. We lost all this trades. I would have preffer less draft assets and something more sustantial on Ben Simmons.
I don't know this general manager. I don't know this coach. I don't know these players. I know the owner and I can't stand him. Not sure how to re-invest myself in this team.
I dunt see why such a stupid trade deal could take such a long time to seal, it really makes me feel sick n wanna curse ferntits family for 100 yrs…finally, the stupid b*stard n his family did ruin the team hands down! John Wall n boogie not enough? Oladipo! Dante Exume! omg, wht a injury prone squat! (tho i luv Wall n Boogie, never doubted their desire of winning games). But, a team w/ great legacy like rockets as well as a market like Houston could deserve more than this. W/ so many picks, this tram easily could turn into a ncaa team.
People are understating the value of these far in the future unprotected picks, much like they did in the Westbrook deal.
HAHAHAHAHA. I especially liked the better player having less than a 50% success rate of getting his own team to the Playoffs. I love it in fact. You know how you can tell someone has a low basketball IQ?
From this trade I like the Brooklyn Picks But I still don't understand the LeVert and a nice 2nd (our own pick in 2023, probably in 30-35) for Oladipo expiring (unless we have a great trade in place) And we move Allen for a late 1st? Allen has a grat potential and he is really good already. we should keep both players
Feel sure the whole nba organization is getting weaker n weaker for yrs, now hardly could they managed players, players could do wht they want like playing a nba2k, whts more, the most horrible thing is any shitty assholes could take over a team n pretending as they really care or role playing like a boss who should have been those gentlemen really into this game decades ago besides making money from it. Really really frustrated, wht can i expect from coming games, witnessing a sore knee Wall painfully sitting there…or a silly Wood happily social w/ certain low life la player right after the game like nothing happened on court? **** it.
McMahon on windhorst podcast eluded that this deal was partially motivated by Tillman’s need for saving..
