I feel u man....unfortunately, it needs to happen Rockets have zero pieces that can carry the franchise into the future right now...their only hope to get that is via the draft we got very lucky that Harden fell into our laps via trade and blew up the way that he did into a superstar/MVP caliber player
Is this the guy that threatened to kill himself during an argument with his girlfriend then choked her.
Dude is in his third year, in the league. 1st year: 8.5 / 4 / 1 2nd year: 4.6 / 3 / 1 This year (through 5 games): 0.6 / 0.4 / 0.1 Let's not start a "warmly welcome" page for every single scrub that we get. Thanks.
While I am not necessarily happy with the return, it is one of the largest pick hauls that anyone has ever seen in NBA history so there is that.
This isn't a judgment post about the trade one way or another. We'll see how that plays out in the future. I will say though for those of you who don't know Rodions, he's a pretty legit young player with upside who balled out the past few seasons when given opportunity. Good shooter and underrated athlete. Happy to have him.
lmfao, it's brooklyn. they have KD and James Harden. I know last time they lost high picks for a long time. This won't be a repeat. If any of these picks are higher than #10 i'd be absolutely shocked. This is the worst trade i've ever seen. Meddling team with no players worth holding onto. No draft picks of their own. Relying on other teams to falter.
Who is that Hartenstein only fan in CF? You now can officially create a new account for another white player.
Harden hasn't signed an extension. The Rox own the Nets picks till 2027. KD is 32, Harden is 31. They also have loose cannon Kyrie who is prob the most toxic player in the league right now. They lost a lot of their depth including their only good center. I'd be shocked if the Rox don't get at least 1 top 10 pick in the next 7 years.
Agreed. Unless the FO is high on a Wall-Victor backcourt for some odd reason, there's not much to be proud of here. We're gonna have to become master drafters to salvage anything from this. Not acquiring a young, budding star is unacceptable. I understand if Denver or Boston weren't willing to budge on MPJ/Brown, but you have to get a Herro or Herro-esque player along with multiple picks for a three-time scoring champ and recent MVP
James Harden and Kevin Durant aren't the only players in the world that could possibly play for the Nets to make sure they don't bottom out. It's a marquee destination. I know how the Boston deal worked out. Low probability we get so lucky. This trade sucks.
If you think this trade sucks then sorry to say you're just wrong and didn't understand what the trade entailed. This isn't NBA 2K with trade override on and you can get 10 picks, 10 swaps, 2 franchise players for James Harden. If you compare what NO got for AD it is very comparable.
