Don’t mind the firing. Don’t know much about Sarkisian but have obviously heard his name many times and have a general feel for who he is. Not super confident... but I thought the last hire wound turn it around so not sure anything other than Urban would have made me feel “this is the guy!!”
Isn’t Sarkision an alcoholic? What could possibly go wrong? Not sure Austin is the best environment for someone who struggles with alcohol.
Lots of rumors about Herman over the years and Augie was a lush. The difference is that the latter was a good coach who won. Good riddance, Tom. Hopefully the Mensa chapter in whatever small college town you end up in is happy to have you.

65/35 my prediction. 65 it won’t work. 35 it will and he’ll be the guy here for 15 years. but as I noted I thought the odds were reverse if not 75/25 in Herman’s favor when he was hired. Probably better options out there though is the strange part

Its been widely reported that Herman had lost everyone in his corner. Should note that Chip Brown and Brian Davis are the only ones reporting on Sark. Same guys that were supposedly told Herman would be back.
Why? I like the hire. A very bright offensive mind. Is said to be a great recruiter. Hopefully after watching Bama play in the championship game Ewers decides to come back home.
