I think he will a lot more this year. Previously there was nobody to set a pick for. If you see yourself getting your team wide open at a premium level and they brick it day in and day out you probably wouldn't bother setting too many picks either.

That alone causes a teammate to be more wide open than any set pick would do, since that teammate is wide open when they receive the inevitable Harden pass.

The initial OP was a question posed by a Wizards fan, and it was innocent enough. Does Harden set picks?? The answer to that is clearly YES, as it has been pointed out numerous times in this thread. Hell, he set a few of them in the last ****ing game alone. Does that mean we wouldn't like to see him do more off-ball stuff? Nope. Does it mean Harden is perfect? Not even close. But it certainly doesn't mean the guy is lazy, or a bad basketball player. Hell, one of the reasons why so many fans were excited about Silas as the new coach was because he's known for creating off-ball opportunities with his guards.
