Ya'll better hope Wall, Gordon, Cousins and Mac explode offensively....because otherwise this season is looking like a wash.

 

House/Nwaba similar size/age.

Nwaba making almost half of what House makes.

He has certain limitations defensively because of his lack of core strength and wavering concentration but there are players the Rockets can put around him to mask the problem.

 

figured rockets would be on tired legs after that shorthanded OT game against the blazers and then going shorthanded again in altitude against the nuggets on just the second game of the season with players not even in nba game shape yet. would've been a tough 2 game road trip even with the full lineup in midseason form.

that said, hope we never have to see bruno or brodic thomas in a lineup this season ever again. getting wall, cousins, eg, mclemore, and even mason jones should help a lot. house needs to be on the bench as the 11th or 12th man.

Honestly, I'm still not seeing how offensively, Tucker is useless out there. He's the best corner three point shooter in the league(or one of them). Simply being a floor spacer I think is enough on offense. Defensively...he's a little slow but he's always been like that with guards in particular, its nothing new.

 

Yes, House looked lost and did not have the chance to locate CJ....he was wide open

Figured 0-2 once all the covid stuff came up - you can't win 2 on 5, adding Ego, Wall and Boogey makes us so much better and it takes a lot of pressure off of guys who aren't ready.

Hmm, question. Im asking because I'm genuinely curious and I think it would be cool. Are you fan who used to follow Wall with the Wizards?

 

Meh. I think some of the house being a playmaker stuff is overrated. 1st there was Wall, Gordon, and no Harden. Now it's Harden with no Wall or Gordon. House won't be having any play making roles at full strength. That's not even including a playmaker like Cousins

So how did you see Wall as a player when he was fully healthy. Strengths?Weaknesses?

 

I know they’ve got little money and a hard cap but would be nice to drop Bruno and pick up Ilyasova or something for some front court help. That with bringing back Green somehow. Feels like House can’t handle the little more that’s being asked of him in this system —overthinking and losing focus at same time.

Half our rotation is missing. The Nuggets are a top 5 team in the league.

What do you expect? This team without the haircut crew has only one NBA caliber full time ball handler in Harden. Wall and Gordon are huge. Cousins is also going to provide much better interior defensive presense also.
