i want what’s best for the team and if Harden actually cares about the team it’s a good thing. It also increases his value
The memes are killing me lol sounds good but im sure hes just playing public relations/media control now to better his image to get out quicker. but I hope things get better for real.
Brooklyn aint happening, and Nuggets arent giving us Murray......but anyways..... I dont think Harden wants to leave anyways. Just pulled a Kobe...and about to win this ring this year with us! lol
I believe that has always been our negotiating position. I expect james to stay with us all year. There extremely few players in the league that are harden worthy.
I agree. If you don’t get a massive haul of picks and a young stud there can’t be a deal for an MVP type player. However a team will inevitably offer this at some point. The cats out the bag - nothing is going to change how harden feels about being here....we can be as optimistic as we want to. ....does it play out till end of year? maybe, not likely. I see a team pulling the trigger by the deadline.
This is why I say look to package gordon, tucker, house and the 3 picks acquired this offseason for something good. go all in again. one more quality starter can put us back in the conversation and possibly make James believe that our "chance" is a little better than the chance he has on other teams.
Yeah, this is coming from the same moron just a week ago saying he saw a fat guy looking exactly like him coming out of retirement playing on the court and should be ashamed of himself.
James Harden just wanted to play with All Stars. Christian Wood is a Upcoming Player, Jae'Sean Tate is another big piece. Talk about Young Talent that can only Improve and Learn.
Would it have been better if Chris Paul didn’t have a rebound year? He looked very average, at best, in that second season. It was a gamble and in hindsight a bad trade — esp bc it was Rus (barf). But I understand thinking you had to unload CP3 quick and get the best talent out there. Harden wanted Rus, apparently, and salary worked. The picks were excessive but if we are in win NOW, who cares about the 14+ pick? If there was some other star available and we went with Rus instead, it would be a really bad trade.
If everyone could stop breaking Covid protocol for the first time this season, that would be a great step 0.
