The Rockets organization is really poorly ran right now. You get what you pay for.

They’re trying to salvage the situation. Before doing what’s “right” they’re trying to see if Harden might flip back and they’re worried once they start the punitive treatment they’ve lost him for good. They’re certainly in between a rock and hard place. They also don’t want to hurt his trade value any more by acknowledging the media reports. Because that’s all they’ve been, mostly. And as Silver said, it’s preferable that these things get handled behind closed doors.

EVERY move the front office has made so far has been excellent, including their patience on making a Harden deal.

I am completely comfortable with their silence.

 

We don’t know how good they are. Silas is impressive so far. I don’t really have an opinion of Stone. Getting Wood was something the Rockets were interested in doing before Morey left. Stone has publicly spoken once since he got the job.

Stone may prove to be good, too early to tell.
