Oladipo + Warren for Harden works just not sure Oladipo can get back to all star form. That said, Wall Oladipo Warren Tucker Wood With Gordon/Boogie leading a really deep 2nd unit.
Barnes, Fox, Bagley, Hield, Halliburton & 1st for Harden, Gordon, Tucker, Mclemore & House Move Boogie and Barnes at the deadline for youth. Move Hield and Wall in the offseason. Can acquire young players or a lot of picks to build around Fox Wood Bagley Halliburton
https://www.fearthesword.com/2020/1...jr-2020-21-season-preview-cleveland-cavaliers EGo for Larry Nance Jr. EGo is former 6th man and elite scorer on all 3 levels, excellent perimeter defender and can light it up off the bench or in starting line up. But only 6'3 and Rockets need more length in starting lineup. Larry Nance is not a starter but has jump out of the gym athleticism, 35% from 3 and can defend 1-5. Nance also 6'7 and still 28. CLE: Eric Gordon, Chris Clemons + FRP + SRP HOU: Larry Nance Jr
I would love LN2 here.... but honestly if the Cavs trade him, their fans need to riot... Dad was a legend there and LN2 actually wants to help that team do good...
Would definitely consider it but neither Wagner or Bongo will be a starter on the Rockets. That's my 1st pause. 2nd pause is that PJ makes a tangible difference on defense, with his play and as the defensive communicator. PJ allows the Rockets to switch everything on D when Rockets go small. We saw that in 3rd when Harden led that all wing unit and the D became oh so smooth. 3rd pause is that PJ is ELITE from corner 3 and he actually becomes even better in the postseason where his +/- almost doubles.
The more I think about a potential Harden for Simmons deal, the more I realize we will really need to replace his scoring at some level to remain competitive. Neither Simmons or Wall are scorers, and I think they need to be surrounded by guys that put the ball in the hoop. Wood is a really good start, but I think we need another piece... Philly In: Harden, PJ Houston In: Simmons, Lavine, 2 FRPs Chicago In: Gordon, Maxey, 1 FRP Ages Wall (29) Lavine (25) House (27) Simmons (25) Wood (25) Salaries Wall - 41.3 Simmons - 30.6 Lavine - 19.5 Wood - 13 House - 3.7 Everyone else is making the minimum. What I like about this is the combined salaries of Simmons, Lavine, Wood and House are $66.8, so you could be a big player in 2021 free agency if you can move off Walls contract, or you can try to work a trade with the FRPs you’ve accumulated.
If we have to move Harden I would hope we go after something like this Hou out: Harden, Tucker, Egod Hou in: Levine, Agod, MPJ, OPJ, Den FRP and swaps in 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 Den out: Harris, Barton, MPJ Den FRP and swaps in 21,22,23,24,25 Den in: Harden Chi out: Levine, OPJ Chi in: Gary Harris, Barton, Hou SRP Orl out: Agod Orl in:Egod, Tucker, FRP from us We would end up with wall Levine MPJ/House Agod/OPJ Wood/cousins Over the span of six years we could end up with near 10 picks (although most are likely to be late lotto or even outside the lottery). More importantly you’d have controllable young assets. 6/8 have pretty good 3 balls. Lots of switchability and positionless basketball potential as well.
