don’t care...like he’s gonna give the media anything to run with...I guess he could show up to give some non-answers and cliches to avoid any fines
Yeah this is not a shock. He’s going to play and wait until the games matter and talk about that. If he talks now it’s going to be so James why did you show up late to camp? Do you want to be here? He’s not going to answer those questions.
I'm not normally big on media boycotts but this is fine as long as he understands and is okay with paying his fines and doesn't make this boycott confrontational. Having to continually answer questions about trade demands contributes to a circus that won't help anyone. If he does a softball interview with Rachel Nichols or something where he says he just wants to win a title but respects the organization and will be a professional and come out and compete that could make sense for all parties.
On the contrary, James Harden is absolutely speaking to the media... with his actions, his IG postings, his mom's comments, etc.
Lol, this is dumb. He plays basketball!! He deserves hundreds of millions of dollars!!! The goal of the team - well as a fan - is to win a ring. When Harden leaves the Rockets, he will have left so not having achieved that goal, while destroying a potential rebuild because of the ridiculous Russ trade he pushed through. He should NOT have had the power he had, and that's not arguable at this point. $$ is whatever... its capitalism... he got what he got....
The circus won't stop until he speaks to the media. I support your softball interview idea just because I like Rachel.
This is as expected. He'll wait until media focus shifts to basketball games rather than player contracts.
Media actually love hidden drama.....it plays into their hands unfortunately. The fact that Houston doesn't fine their superstars is also something they would continue to pursue. The 'accountability narrative'.
He put himself into a difficult situation. Should have came to camp on time and not partied hard with kids
