We can only sign minimum deals, man. Cousins has a high ceiling. Who are we supposed to sign for the minimum to play at the 3/4 spot? Edit: Also, Cousins is on a non-guaranteed contract. Good signing, in my opinion.
I'd love this. Is it not blatantly clear that there is something more going on in the Wood trade though? The fact that it hasn't been finalized makes zero sense. @TheSource when is the fun coming?
Not saying it is a poor signing. But Rockets still need to get LONGER at the wing spot. Rockets signed 4 players 6'6 or shorter for that position. As it is, EGo is the starting 3 at 6'3.
Is TheSource actually an insider? Forgot what knowledge he dropped here. NBA office probably still trying to sort through all of the times Ariza was traded.
I agree, but absent a trade, I don't see us being able to pick up any player of significance for the minimum. I think what really hurt us is Jeff Green leaving, but for various reason it is understandable why he left. In the free agent market, do you have any suggestions for available players? Batum is one, in my opinion.
I think Okobo is a better defender with more upside. The truth is they let some point guards pass them by that they should have targeted.
They have been seeing if they can possibly expand it.... think of the Westbrook deal that wasn't finalized for awhile.
Torrey Craig was also likely signed to min deal per Bucks cap situation. https://www.brewhoop.com/2020/11/22/21589972/report-bucks-sign-torrey-craig
I agree this small ball infatuation still exists, despite the addition of height and length with Wood/ Cousins. Tate is worthless, unless he is like Dort on defense.
More experienced, but House was starting to shine before the debacle. Self discipline is a must for him.
