Not sure why Morey wants him again TBH. He was good his first year with the Rockets, then became a headache and distraction, and then finally a true negative in his last year.
He did his job with LA, unlike in years past. Guess Morey gives him a second chance. He knows the issues were with both him and Harden, so I don’t see this as shocking.
He also wants to pad those stats for a few more years. He will end up with numbers only a handful of players have ever had.
Out of boredom I just glanced and rebounds he is right in the middle of Shaq and Hakeem. It’s dicey on him getting to 20000 points though.
Joel Embiid, Dwight Howard pranking the whole Team. While Ben Simmons gets tired of being pranked and wants to be traded. Doc Rivers and Sam Cassell need some Tylenol.
Morey just wanted another year of Ben and Joel till he trades Simmons. Basically what he said and insinuated.
This is what I was gonna say. I would be worried about the goofy nature of Dwight combined with Embiid constantly trolling without any real leader. That team needs a Jason Terry type vet immediately, even if they get Harden. I do think Dwight fits on the court though. He finally decided to play the way Morey told him to years ago. He could even step in and start when Embiid has the innevitable 15 game injury.
At that salary Howard is a steal. I know everybody hates him, but he's still an extremely good rim protector and rebounder, albeit in less than full time. If another player not named Dwight Howard played the exact same way people would be foaming at the mouth to get them basically for free.
Don't know why lakers didn't give him 3 million. Why would Rob need to go to management for 3mil? Its not a lot of money and he was pretty good against Denver.
