Roco's perimeter defense was really disappointing and there's no indication were going to remain a micro ball team even if one of or both Harden/Russ stay. Rocos's strengths on this particular team this past season won't be as important if we move to a more traditional lineup again where an athletic 4/5 might be more valuable.
Tilman/Stone/Patrick - Unfortunately, we just miss out on Ibaka/woods etc. But don't worry, everything will be fine, once we trade Westbrook for a great young prospect and lottery picks.
I disagree, he would of been a hell of a 4 option, but I understand that you gotta give up **** to get back assets and be able to move those around to get better players. We will see what happens when free agency starts at midnight. Slim pickings, but there are a few good choices in there. We also have trades that may be available.
Man, we need a Gif of this guy doing something crazy. Maybe similar to the Ron Paul it's happening Gif but with Tilman's face.
Rockets should look to trade that Detriot 1st, Eric Gordon and Tucker to GSW for Draymond. Then give MLE to Wood. Sign guys like Elrfrid Payton, Wayne Ellington, Gerald Green for vet minimum deals and i think the team is set. We can let some of the young ins look to replace some SF mins lost by Cov
Russ, Draymond and Harden on the same team = Fireworks! That's one way to trade Harden and Russ faster. They wouldn't survive 3 days in training camp.
It's happening. I've been begging for Wood since before COVID ruined everything and I'm getting what I wanted. This rules.
I think Wood is going to be a Rocket tomorrow when Free agency starts. I believe it is at 5PM CST. Either through a sign and trade or just outright. What I will be interested to see, is if Eric Gordon is traded as Clutchfans just mentioned to a team like the Warriors for their TPE:
not that I’m not curious what the rockets will do ... but everything I’ve googled tells me FA starts at 6pm Friday , not midnight tonight
No clue if rockets have a real shot at woods or not, but that proposal by clutch was what I also posted earlier. Rockets get out of gordon's contract while warriors would love to have Gordon as he is probably the best option to fill the massive hole at sg. Doing so however means rockets are totally giving up any pretense of contending or satisfying harden.
actually, it could go either way. $1 million of outgoing is non-guaranteed. Either way, it’s not meaningful.
