oh well...I aint mad...kind of happy for him...he has another chance of proving himself... Time will tell...
who gives a ****? we have tilman and aren't going to win a championship unless he had a surprise lobotomy that got his lizard brain to think like a ****ing normal human and not a venomous amphibian.
Morey with the move of the season. Leaves a thickheaded cheap owner who doesn't listen or shuts up. Finds a new job with a higher position with an ownership that is willing to spend and willing to follow his lead. Leaves a team that is left with one 1st round pick available to trade for the next 7 years. Two aging expensive stars that don't really fit together. And no other foreseeable assets avenue to improve the team. Joins an organization that has great potential, but due to injuries & the mismanagement of it's assets and roster have been a disappointment. Gives Morey a great chance to lead a team that is on the cusp to the nba finals in the wide open East. In short it's like Morey went from leading ford auto in detroit to heading tesla's new operations in texas .
My interest in the Rockets is at an all-time low since I started following them. Capela was my favorite player besides Harden once he is gone along with the lack of draft picks. I'll be done for the foreseeable future.
Tilman shouldn't allow this to happen. Unless some agreement was made behind the scenes, this isn't how things like this are supposed to work. Either Morey got over on Tilman BIG TIME (which is likely), or there is something more to the story. My guess is that the Rockets just got hosed. Might as well get used to it... Not to mention, Was Morey supposed to be working for the Rockets in an advisory capacity during the coaching search? Either this is now a conflict of interest, or we should have a coach announced basically immediately.
Either way it was time to move on from morey and for morey to continue chasing a championship somewhere else. Sad it wasn’t able to happen in Houston but it was time to part ways 13 years is a very long time.
How? Morey was awesome to us, people shat all over him, he inhereted an owner with downs syndrome, and he left for greener pastures.
Lmao Morey with a boss move. Not only did he leave a terrible boss intent on destroying a franchise through ignorance and cheapness, but he got a better job for a better organization. I actually did the same thing in my career not too long ago. Real recognize real
Who? What f the team was the Westbrook trade and Tilman penny pinching and meddling. Morey isnt responsible for either.
Wow, this goes to show his whole story for leaving was bs haha. Basically Morey decided to jump off a sinking ship where he wasn't in control and being forced to make bad decisions.
yall think Tilman has Morey in handcuffs. please lol. you need to remember who you're dealing with here. One is smart and knows wtf hes doing. The other well. Tilman's a moron
Tilman Fertitta is the one that crapped all over Rockets’ fans, not Morey. Morey made a business decision, and I’m sure the Fertitta family had a hand in shaping the narrative that Morey’s departure was mutual and had nothing to do with his working conditions. Morey was burned out because he felt like he was being micromanaged at work. Why continue to work for a boss that won’t trust you to do your job and even goes against your recommendations to make a blockbuster trade that drastically changes the look of the roster you built?
