You guys really still don’t understand just how spoiled you were with CP3. Hint: The guy is not even close to grossly overpaid. He’s top 10 player by any metric. What the hell kind of contract does he deserve? Tobias Harris and Al Horford are max guys. Pascal Siakam is a max guy. Jamal Murray is a max guy. Tobsay nothing of a Gordon Hayward. he’s flat out better than Lowry too. CP3 has got at least one more all-nba season left. And then he’s an expiring. Lol. His contract is perfectly fine.
Making the second round of the playoffs is not that bad. A lot of teams wish they could do that. Hard to compete with LA teams that get the top players because of their location.
Imagine the 76ers having a guy who can't shoot 3s and can only put his head down and attempt to drive to the basket, to be effective. And then they add Russell Westbrook to pair with that guy, in Simmons.
Tilman's best bet might be to Gilooly Russ's knee, then collect the insurance payout to put toward his restaurants and casinos.
Every contract can traded. I remember joe Johnson contract was deemed terrible and untraceable lo and behold he got traded to Brooklyn. I would say trade him for batum But Batum looks done in the league
was JJ making super max and locked in for 3 more years in a guards league with a broken jumpshot and erratic play
He was making max money clearly ET pass his prime with 3+ years left in the contract when he got traded to Brooklyn. It was a bad contract he signed after 30 and got traded after he stunned 33 so yes it was equivalencies to this Westbrook situation
The moment Harden wanted Westbrook here we locked in both Harden and Westbrook. If we trade Westbrook, consider Harden unhappy and likely gone too. If that's what you're ok with, then sure, trade Westbrook for something worth value in the future.
I’m not giving up inwestbrook anyway. Go to a more traditional offense and see hat can happen. He’s clearly takened a backseat to Harden. Get harden another pick n roll partner
I'd keep Russ cuz he deserves another shot with Harden but one of the ideas I saw flouting around was this trade: Russell Westbrook and Eric Gordon for John Wall and Bradley Beal, thoughts? It works in the trade machine
John Wall, Blake Griffin, Julius Randle are all contracts that I would trade Westbrook for if a pick was coming. Granted they are not the same talent but they wouldn't pack the paint like only Westbrick can..... I heard a rumor that Morey didn't want to do the CP3 trade to begin with and that tillman forced it. Does anyone know if that is true?
