I think it does, House normally play around 30 minutes and he has size and speed to defend and okay on offense. The more impact is on the morale of the team, Harden is not mentally strong person, I'm not sure about others on the team, so the absence of House may affect more than just him on the court.
Wow this is awful, how can you be this dumb?! He might have just ruined his marriage, relationship with his kids and relationship with not just the Rockets, but the whole league over what...some p***y?!!
Still want to hear House's side of this, but man, he had a chance to bring in his family and probably could've waited another week before going home anyway...he could've just had his wife in there to have relations with. Really don't understand this.
Why would you say that? Dan is a damn fine player on both sides of the ball. Any team that lost a 30+ minute player of his abilities would be hurting.
some teams might not, but other teams will benefit from that reluctance by acquiring him for less money/less assets. dude is young, plays defense, hit's 3's and is on a rookie contract. not only would we be crazy to trade him (unless the locker room hates him, i could see players going either way on something like this), but other teams would be dumb to assume an unprecedented, non-basketball related decision like this is going to mean much of anything in the future. you take the good player on the good contract.
Doubt House can start for anyone. He might get a bench role. We literally picked him up from the dumpster pile. And if you ask me, having two starters from the dumpster pile is 2 too many anyway. So good riddance. We could draft two rookies and get more production than House and Tucker gave us yesterday.
My goodness give this some time. This was not handled the same was as the Clippers’ player. We need House like players around Harden & Westbrook. 2 way player on a next to nothing contract are hard to find and keep. All the trade cut him stuff needs to stop. (it’s his personal life, not everyone you work with needs to be a good person). Yes he is a POS but so is a 1/3 of the league—> he got caught. The league is not fair and the Rockets need to shed some light on it. They all are talking about equality; then it’s time to show some. none of the players are family or friends, I don’t care about them, like they don’t care about you. We need to find better things to talk about then House’s personal life.
Again, had she been someone authorized to be in the bubble, he wouldn't get kicked out. He may have gotten a one game suspension, but not kicked out for good. He got kicked out because she tricked security, but how should he know that someone would be able to do that. It's like if I go to the club, I assume no girl there is 16. He assumed everyone there was allowed to be there.
The statement clearly says he was punished for a violation of safety protocol related to COVID-19. The title on ESPN is literally "House booted from bubble for violation." The violation was in regards to the safety protocol. I don't want to be an ass, but if you can't understand that from what you are reading then idk what to tell you. What doesn't make sense is the league being shady about it, not releasing details to the public or providing evidence to the Rockets, seemingly singling House out over circumstantial proof, pretending it's really about safety when they didn't truly quarantine the Rockets or postpone any games. Although in some ways it makes perfect sense because it's the NBA. Your logic is like someone being investigated and arrested on suspicion of robbery, then being sentenced to jail time/probation, and you're like "well technically he could have been committing tax evasion!! They never said it wasn't tax evasion!!" But yeah, let's sit around and completely fabricate things that are not mentioned in any report to explain why he was removed from the bubble. That's probably it.
Meanwhile, a Python who hasn't seen a male snake in 15+ years laid eggs. House is sneaky. But Pythons are breeding without males!

When the lady was in House's room. You know Mike Breen was crouching under the bed. At the right moment, he jumps out: "BANG!"
