well said. it's the drama queens that make it more than it really is in reality. the idea of you have to be bff's to win is such a gimmick
Really liked his answer. It's like fans/media expect ex teammates to either hate each other or be best friends. But there is an in between.
I hate how the nba is starting to feel very wweish in terms of storylines. From the scripted porzingis ejection setting up a storyline for game 2, to the fake tj warren/ jimmy butler beef to this cp3/ harden story. And then you can’t forget the disrespected 35-39 blazers. Enough with this nonsense let’s just play basketball
I'm putting all my hopes on James being in Drew League mode mentally and going for 60 every night and I'm dead ass serious
Of course they do, that's what gets people to tune, story lines. A lot of us don't get caught up in that ****, but I think it's essential for the average fan to get sucked in. James Harden is introverted, he's probably similar to Morey when they trade/don't bring back players he enjoyed playing with. He liked them when they were here but he moves on the moment they are shipped out. Remember when Chandler Portions feelings got hurt because Harden labeled him a role player that can easily be replaced? Lol. That's just how Harden is. The dude is a true professional. He works hard, he makes suggestions to FO but doesn't run FO like Dictator Lebron and he just cares to play basketball with whoever they put around him. He doesn't even get involved in politics and rarely do we hear him take shots at other players. The guy just cares about one thing, and that's to play basketball. That's probably why the media portrays so much hate to him, to see if they can get some tidbits out of him. I love Harden.
they teamed up, it didn’t work out, and now both have moved on...plain and simple they’ll always have that 17-18 season tho...no doubt it was the most fun they’d ever had in their careers
They were the perfect basketball fit and should have taken down the greatest team ever assembled. Very bummed how their relationship ended.
Resides in the same place as the Bill O'Brien-DeAndre Hopkins relationship. “There was no relationship. Make sure you put that in there. There’s not a lot to speak about.”
