pretty sure if moute's career at this point wasn't already derailed by his injuries, he'd be here for camp at the very least. it wasn't one or the other. the rockets reached out to both
Besides having confidence issues, the Suns played without a point guard last season. Hard for a spot-up shooter like Anderson to get open shots in rhythm without somebody making an effort to set him up.
Hot Take: Ryan Anderson hated playing with Chris Paul and Paul's "mentoring" personality got into Ryan's head. Now that Paul's gone we'll see Ryan hit 40%+ of his 3s next season. It doesn't get any hotter than that.
WTF I guess Anderson is the new Danuel House. Quick make him the centerpiece he is gonna give the Rox a championship
Or maybe no one was offering Anderson a deal after he couldnt get PT in PHX and we have just Bennett at backup PF. I was arguing against this dude coming to the team a couple days ago but if the Rox can give the biggest bust in NBA history a shot then maybe EG's BFF also deserves another look at the vet min. But his contract is "significantly partially guaranteed" so even Morey doesnt have confidence in him. Still, my money's on Bennett being better than him by mid season...MDA might still play Anderson though just because he hates young people and loves old guys.
Harden doesnt seem to influence team moves much Ariza and Melo were let go without his consent. Looks like Harden only interferes when he wants a dude gone like with Dwight and Cp3.
Ryan Anderson shooting from the arena logo reminds me of shooting from the nails in the board in Nintendo's Double Dribble
huh? Ariza was a FA. what does harden have to do with Ariza's own personal decision. Melo already said publicly he went to talk to harden and cp3 during the situation. Oh harden definitely knew. his consent couldn't even save him bc he knew it wasn't working anyway
I love this move. I think all the noise about his contract went to his head, then he got hurt and the situation got worse. Roster looking aight. Westbrook, Harden, Sefolosha, Tucker, Capela Rivers, Gordon, House, Anderson, Chandler 5’9” dude, Mclemore, Green, Clark/Bennett, Hartenstein Lots of rotation options. If we see 8-9 man rotations before the Finals I’ll call for DAntonis firing.
San Antonio was one series out of five. He was a non-factor against Utah and Minnesota as well, not just Golden State. Nene was too slow to play against GS as well, but he could make an impact in other series. I'm fine with the signing, but I realize Anderson's limitations. He can't defend, pass, or rebound. I'm only hoping for some Gerald Green like threes off the bench. If he's not hitting threes or is too scared to take them again just keep him on the bench.
"Now that we are paying him peanuts...he will probably perform better!" said the owner to the elephant trainer.
he was inactive or barely played against utah/minny and in the game he played the most minutes of 18, he nailed 4/6 3s. lets not be dramatic and act like he got put out there to make a consistent impact.
Cool....well what difference does it make if he sits on the bench and we beat Utah....we beat Minnesota, just cuz he didn't match up well and we still beat them anyways, doesn't mean he wouldnt match up against other teams....Joe engles can shoot. And capella played Kat and rudygobert just fine .but that's not always going to be the case. We're going to need 2 bigs at times and also a big who can shoot the three. He is definitely a situational player. Who's going to grab the boards with Dwight, ad, LeBron and kuzma in there....we can't go small all the time And then we have montrezharrell, PG13, kawhi and Beverley...who's going to get the boards with them in there
