Capela signs 5yr, $80mil deal ($90M w/ incentives) with the Rockets

    They have the 1st founders and Brown and Rozier, Capela is great but you cannot build a team around him.

    they also have Williams who can turn into a Capella type player.

    There's not much footage of Draymond doing anything positive this year...anywhere...including the low post. As I stated in another thread....Draymind is tanking. If he is there after the deadline (probablt will be) then they'll be footage worth discussing.

    Again, context matters. You have to keep things in proper context by understanding the factors surrounding the performance of these guys.

    If.....you really think that because Draymond has stunk it up all season that that's what he's going to do in the playoffs.....then.....you're a fool. Context matters. Nothing has changed about Draymond's skill level. When he gets a mismatch in the low block in the playoffs he'll crush them. He can't be defended by a small. It's foolish to think otherwise no matter how bad he's been this season.

    No. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying very clearly and repeatedly is we don't have the personel to switch everything to contest shooters and finishers at the rim and rebound well enough.

    THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO BEST BEAT THE WARRIORS AS THEY ARE CURRENTLY CONSTRUCTED. Only one. You have to switch everything defensively and you've got to have 5 shooters on the floor to hold Draymond stationary defensively in the corner.

    We didn't have enough last season. We're further depleted this season. Yes, we do know the right strategy (system) to beat them.


    If he is still Rocket and wet meet the Warriors in the playoffs we'll have Rio drop him. Onto the bench. And play somebody else. Or rise we will lose. He dpes not match up against the Warriors even when we've got the right system.


    The wing upgrade wet need may require trading Capela to get. You should be fine with that.

    Nice bump. Harden getting all the attention (deservedly), but we aren't even in the game without Clint. Barkley said Capela had the quietest 29 point-21 rebound game in NBA history. :D
