Even if Jeff had family problems, Tillman should have given Jeff enough money to no longer care about his family. Maybe hire someone to babysit Jeff's family while Jeff concentrates on what is actually important in life.
I read the EspN article. It seems to me that it was serious to point where Jeff can't even join the team until after Thanksgiving. He definitely made the right decision to put Family first. If he quit earlier and this wasn't the situation I would have said F him. This however, seems like a very good reason to take time off...
This man was watching how bad the defense was on TV. He pulled a Thanos end credit and was like: Fine. I'll do it myself.
Glad coach B is back but who is coming back to save our offense? We should be scoring 130+ a night with these new rules instead of creating a luxury hotel sized house with all our bricks.
If I were Tilman I would make the offer to have him do the Bill and Clyde package. Just have him coach for training camps, home practices, and home games. He would be far more likely to stay on board if he didn't have to travel.
JB been buried in his work somewhere, developing a system that adds Melo's jumper but masks his defensive shortcomings by making 4 defenders look like 5.
