Ryno giving up $5M+ to get out of Houston is either: * an attempt to resurrect his value before he becomes a FA again in summer of 2020. * yet another bad shot that clanks off the rim.
Stop trying to be an amateur psychologist. Lack of confidence completely contradicts your assertion that he was selfish and ego-maniacal. Sometimes people lose the belief in themselves.....God forbid you ever experience something in your life where you question your ability, or your capability. It happened to him here, which is why he got traded. Awkward in the locker room does NOT mean he was a cancer, or that he was doing anything on purpose. It just means that the writing was on the wall, and everybody on the team knew his days in Houston were probably numbered. People lose confidence in themselves all the time for a wide variety of reasons......but it doesn't mean that lies or personal attacks about that person should ever be acceptable.
That’s your take. Stop making a big deal, it’s sad enough as it is. He could’ve been great for us and in my opinion his ego got in the way too much for him to be effective.
Ryan knows that he is very blessed to even be the in NBA. He has mentioned that many times about being a fat kid growing up and getting paid $$$ to throw a ball in a hoop.
Look, I know we all wanted Anderson gone, but you can't blame him for signing the contract he did. It was offered, after all. He's also a decent guy--definitely not a Pippin. Stop the hate.
Ryan has essentially agreed to a buyout in year 2. So he'll likely get year 1 and be released in year 2 to with a $15 million windfall in his bank account. If he signs for the vet min for some team, he'll make about half of what he gave up back.
Wow. RYNO is a real hero. Helping out Tilman with the Luxury Tax. Tilman in financial trouble. Workers now have to help him by taking less money just so he can pay less tax
Ty Lawson made an entire year non guaranteed at 11 million for us, which we waived. Pretty surprised Anderson did this. I’d waived he has to get at least a tax payers MLE to make up for the money lost, that’s a big risk with his injuries. This makes the trade much more fair for the Suns IMO. I might have seconds thoughts on this trade if we was offering us the same deal.
Agreed. If any of us were offered that contract with our level of basketball ability (in my case none), we would sign in a heartbeat.
