post articles or tweets about what the media's prediction relating to the rockets. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...ns-have-changed-since-the-end-of-last-season/ Win prediction: 52 games
Media is acting like losing Ariza and Luc is equivalent to losing James Harden, so look for the Suns and Clippers to push the Warriors come playoff time.
Can't wait for the 2019 mixtapes! ... now, all we need are more wallpapers! Our wallpaper collections have been really lacking. Spent a whole hour looking for Harden CP3 combo wallpaper on the interwebs, and couldn't find one single decent one. Last year's crop was disappointing to say the least considering how great our season turned out to be. Keep 'em coming CFs!
If Melo had signed with the lakers, then the media would have thought he was the greatest thing ever because he would give Lebron some help. However, since he joined Houston, he will be a train wreck for the franchise. I remember when the narrative was that the OKC thunder, with Melo, was our worst nightmare in the playoffs. SMH , anything to bash the Rockets. And no, national media writers, talking crap about the rockets is not going to make the Lakers trash roster any better. I honestly believe that they think downplaying the Rockets, the only team to challenge Golden State in the KD era, will somehow convince the public that the Lakers are more of a threat to beat the Warriors over us. If we had signed Javale Mcgee, Lance Stephenson, and Rajon Rondo, the media would have laughed at us. But the Lakers do it, and they are contenders. Ridiculous.
I for one not really care about the so called media experts and their predictions. If they are right then who needs to watch BB games?
I am sure Daryl Morey understands what is about to happen here. The Rockets could have used Olympic Melo in game 6 and 7. Melo has shown previously that he will play within the system if he respects the alpha dogs on the team.
They're dogging us cause we let go of Ariza -- the guy who couldn't make a single 3PT shot in a game 7? Or Moute -- the guy who couldn't buy a layup if his life depended on it? LMAO. Morey was never gonna pay $20 million for these two. Watch when Carmelo becomes one of the most improved players this season under Paul's leadership and Harden's playmaking, all these media guys will suddenly have amnesia and try to take credit for it all.
Love this thread idea. Please put all the Max Kellerman, Skip Baseless, and Scream'n A Smith hot takes in one thread. This includes all their stupid video hot takes to put in this one thread. ALL OF THEM!!!!
