I'm not ignoring them. They're on a roll. They still have a few games in the loss column to make up though. The problem is the teams ahead of them are all good enough to make the playoffs. The Nuggets have a solid young core. The Blazers have made it to the postseason with this roster. The Pelicans can still win even without Cousins. And the Clippers could compete for that 8th spot if they don't trade away DeAndre or Lou(HUGE if though). But the Jazz would be a tough matchup for the Warriors or Rockets if they get to the 7th or 8th seed.
If Gobert, Mitchell, and Rubio stay healthy and they get a small upgrade at the stretch 4 they're gonna leap frog some teams. And they'll be a nasty out in the playoffs. Top ranked defense with Gobert and Rubio healthy. And now they've figured out the offensive end. Love could easily wind up here. (Favors, Joe Johnson, and a first) I can't think of a more perfect fit for Love at the moment.
For now, yes, I am ignoring them. Being terrible on way to a 19-28 record isnt erased by a 6 game winning streak. Lets see what they do over the next 10-12 games before we start penciling them in to make noise in the playoffs.
The only franchise I wish pain and misery upon. I wish an avalanche comes down on their arena and cancels their whole season. I wish Mormons abduct Rubio and turn him into their third wife. I wish their loser fanbase drowns in a lake of salt.
I guess, but 40.7% from the field is still pretty ridiculous. Although, compared to Lonzo, Ricky is prime Steve Nash.
Rubio has been impressive lately. Since January 1st: Rubio 46.1% FG, 41.5% 3PT ... Lillard 48.1% FG, 37.2% 3PT CP3 46.9% FG, 37.7% 3PT Dragic 48.8% FG, 38.7% 3PT Lowry 44.8% FG, 41.9% 3PT
lol it would be hillarious if jazz kick hou out of playoffs or they go on a huge run and rubio continues to play great btw he is shooting extremely low volume from 3 on the season
3.6 attempts - I wouldn't go as far as calling it extremely low volume since it makes up 33% of his total field goal attempts, but yeah, definitely not a volume shooter. Mostly takes open shots within the flow of the offense. But that's still a huge improvement since his rookie year. He might actually pull off a 'Kidd' and become a legitimate shooter by the end of his career. Something that I absolutely didn't think was going to happen. Credit to him, it speaks volumes of his work ethic and determination.
