IIRC, Bush did "apologize" though it was one of those politician-type apologies that really don't mean anything.
Um, how to break this to you... It was not a "leftist" poster who made a sarcastic barb about the f-word being presidential, and the "p***y" here is the Bush staffer calling out Kerry. So I'm glad to hear you'll be supporting Kerry from here on.

I'm not sure I see the big deal. I get that Senators and Presidential hopefuls don't usually drop f-bombs publicly, but I couldn't care less that Kerry cusses in Rolling Stone. Who cares what language he uses -- what does he *really* have to say?
It is presidential to use it in front of a 4 year old girl like Bush did, but it's not presidential to use it in a magazine dedicated to Rock & Roll.
Why does this matter? Why do I care? Oh yeah...I don't. If anybody bases their vote on this, then it says a whole lot about the populace.

Bottomline is that Kerry should have known better.
