I know this was last year, but cherrypicking single games is stupid - Harden does it night in and night out as the primary ballhandler on his team (esp with CP3 injured for over half the games so far) and being the focus of the opponent's defense every night. Klay can't even do it with Curry and KD there to take attention away from him. If you want to focus on single games, well then Harden's 56 points on 25 shots (again, as the primary focus of the opponent's defense) earlier this year is 23% more points per attempt than that "remarkable" feat. Harden has been better than Klay for several seasons now and honestly it's not even close. Anyone trying to argue any differently is just being silly.
Klay is better than Harden obviously. Look how easy it was for Klay to drop 60+ vs the Pacers when he only had dribbled for like 11 seconds that game. Compare this to how hard Harden had to work to drop a paltry 53/17/16 vs the Knicks last year. There was a reason voters picked Klay's game as the best performance of the season last year without having any mental handicaps or alcohol.
Mistakes happen, like Morey picked Morris over Kawhi, and he picked Royce friggin White. Klay is still a good player. Just not a superstar. He can still light it up at certain games.
The sad thing is that there's...or better, was...a decent amount of people thinking/saying Klay was the better player.
They ranked the nba SGs on the duncd on podcast today. Clearly Harden by himself in the top tier. Next tier Klay by himself. So on and so forth...
LMAO. You are a goldmine of “grass is always greener” dumb frustrated posts. You were saying that “luckily you are young enough to outlive moreys tenure here” You and @OTMax dont have yalls chit together at all.
