I was not aware that getting to the line 11 times even if you aren't making shots and only committing 3 turnovers is not much better than not making shots, committing 6 turnovers, and choking two critical free throws.
Hmm, I don't remember him ****ting the game away, missing clutch free throws, and turning the ball over like nobodies business.
Harden played 40 mins the night before, went off to Minnesota for a funeral, then to OKC to play a game. No one on the team played well that game. I have a feeling the above explanation had something to do with it.
Funny this was once a debate -- OJ Mayo trying to make a comeback, worth it at vet minimum? https://www.si.com/nba/2017/08/21/oj-mayo-drug-ban-comeback-milwaukee-bucks-travelle-gaines
LOL I don't remember what kind of contract he got in '13 but what I know is that OJ Mayo is out of the league in '17
I remember this. OJ Mayo was balling for the first 2 months of the season which was when this thread was active. Then he gave into drugs/party lifestyle, and not GAF
I'm not gonna read through this thread, but I'm sure some people embarrassed themselves Harden vs OJ, Harden vs Klay, trade Harden for the likes of Lillard/Paul George/D'Angelo Russell/Wiggins...the foolishness will probably never cease
oh boy...this is when you get embarrassed like saying "Curry reminds me of Chris Jackson" or "Harold Miner reminds me of Michael Jordan" or when you sleep with a fat chick and you lie to her and say "You remind me of Kate Upton"
Good read. It's easy to write someone off after what's happened. It's heart-warming to hear that he's realised what he's done and working hard to get back on his feet.
I'm gonna root for the guy. He screwed up and he owned it. He could've easily continued towards a dark path with deeper addiction while being injured, alone and broken emotionally/mentally.
