You guys are really tough. Deal goes south at the last minute and you are burned at the stake. I'll keep my thoughts to myself. Reading the forum only from time to time is a lot less painful. Contributing can be hazardous to your health. No hard feelings.
This is the opinion of the casual fan who watches a few games while flipping thru channels, falls asleep, then wakes up early just to check the boxscore numbers smh. We don't care about what Melo did on the most poorly ran franchise in sports. Bad coaching, bad GM, bad offense & defense. Melo's skillset is elite and will be a HUGE benefit to a team like us looking for shotmakers. Carmelo is T. Jones, Anderson, Dekker & DMo all in one PF. He's the stretch 4 we've been looking for since Parsons left, only he's BETTER than Parsons and can give you 40 on nights Harden quits on the team. Melo on the Knicks was the main option meaning teams could load up on him. Melo here would be mainly catch & shoot off pick & roll, or shot maker late in the shotclock. Teams will no longer be able to double Harden. CP3 pick&roll with Melo could possibly be the deadliest 2-man game in the NBA. You guys aren't seeing the bigger picture here
Couple of options on the table. Both are good for all teams involved. Whether teams willing to accept is still up in the air. I believe that a deal will get done though by end of weekend. Things can change as they often do but I think a deal will be agreed upon.
I'm starting to buy in that we are getting melo and I have seen any tangible evidence. Please remind me why again we believe a deal is in the works? Last I saw was only Mr. Potato Head and a short Layover in Houston.
Give it a f***ing rest. 3 years ago, you were called out by Clutch and subsequently banned. We have long memories.
I'm no insider but I once saw Lou Hudson in a bar and I think we might get Melo unless we don't. I'm kind of warming to the idea.
