Don't like a reporting, just throw out faux news, i mean fake news. Use the brain god dammit, instead of automatic responses.
BTW, don't we already do fancy jet fly-over and stuff? Tanks and cartwheel to launch missiles? That's last millennial military showcase.
Watch this video. The last time a president was in charge of a mass parade celebrating the might of our military vehicles was in 1991 after the victory in the first Gulf War with president Bush Sr.
He is legitimately our President. He's just not a legitimately decent or thoughtful human being, by most standards.
I share most of the attached bloggers thinking. While I definitely don't like Trump the man, I do support his efforts to be a successful President and hope that for my family's and the country's sake he is successful. I will speak out against policies, statements and actions I believe are not in the best of the country and will support legislation and candidates that I believe better serve the country. But I respect the office of the President, and our Democratic process. I hope others do as well, including those that voted for Trump. http://thehill.com/blogs/pundits-bl...-a-democrats-very-cautious-optimism-for-trump
Not a legitimate president. I like my presidents to be legitimate, not popular vote losers installed by Russian dictators. Sorry if that rankles so many here.
LOL is right. Some Presidents have quoted past Presidents like Lincoln, Reagan and Kennedy. Others have quoted great authors, great poets. And some have even quoted Bible scripture. Donald Trump quotes evil cartoon villains from Batman movies. I hear he will quote Lex Luther in his SOTU speech...
As a Bane fan, that made my day. Thanks, Commodore. Also: Bane enunciates better, which is really saying something.
Makes sense. Both are anti-government anarchists hell bent on destroying the society. I think one is more noble in the sense that at least he doesn't have a profit motive. Where is the hero we need but don't deserve?!!
For all of you that want to impeach Trump. You might as well also impeach the 62,979,636 citizens who voted for him. You might as well say "**** you and your opinions." To all the farmers, steel workers, laborers, businessmen, middle class families, and to anyone who's opinions of Trump differ from your own. You might as well become president yourselves. You might as well start a revolution. You might as well form a pact of elite intellectuals that share the same views you have and run the country, while silencing those who do not or give them cleansing training. Because you are Sooooo special.
First, who is impeaching Trump? That's a GOP tactic. But funny you should worry about the "62,979,636 citizens who voted for him, and not the 2.9 million more citizens that voted for Clinton. And I think that is a message in today's marches... don't forget, that more people voted for the other candidate. And even more when you consider the other people that ran.
Your logic doesn't really add up. If Trump breaks his oath to the constitution, he gets impeached. Those are the rules, the people that voted for him did not make that same oath and do not follow the same rules as he. If Trump doesn't want to be impeached then he just behaves like a decent president and stays true to the oath that he's taken. It's really not that hard, it's rather rare for presidents to be impeached.
