It wasn't just their twitter, they had a press conference and they showed the same picture. The decision was made higher up Just be thankful that the dude didn't get hurt
Sad day, unfortunately nothing will be done about gun control. Expected a post from Bobby that life is cheap, disappointed.
Dropping tea was an act of war, and it started the American Revolution which killed 60 plus thousand American and British troops. You can call it cold blooded murder because you don't believe in their cause, that's fine.
My son-in-law is a police officer in San Antonio. In addition to praying for those unjustly killed by police officers, please let's put politics aside and pray-or send positive thoughts- to our law enforcement officers and their families nationwide, the large majority of whom are decent, hardworking people of integrity. I do solemnly believe that from knowing how the few police officers I know talk about their LEO brethren.

Sadly, that is what this has come to. Surely you realize that continuing to murder black people and getting away with it was a part of the escalation process, right?
They were going off some witness accounts and only listed him as a person of intrest.that could mean something as simple as he might have witnessed something .. Don't think this will ruing his life

If anything the NRA should view that guy as a hero. He was a american citizen exercising his right to openly carry. NRA should be outraged that a law abiding citizen was made into a POI just because he was legally carrying.
Going forward, probably not. But in a highly charged atmosphere, it could have easily cost him his life. I'm in the camp that it was irresponsible for DPD to broadcast him like that. People won't differentiate between "person of interest", "suspect" or whatever
