Wade could provide the extra scoring to make CLE better matched. The huge question is what to do with Love. Thompson has proved his worth. A line up of Kyrie, Lebron, Wade, and Thompson is a championship caliber line up in almost every year.

What could Cleveland get to better themselves down low? heck at this point, shoot for Zach Randolph in a trade. If you're going to throw darts at a wall, may as well bring someone in who can actually bully people in the paint along with Thompson.

80s/90s competitiveness equals a loaded lakers team winning 8/10 western conference championships in the 80s, and the Bulls dominating the 90s.

Reality is there were never more than a handful of teams that could legitamately win the title in a given year.

There were plenty of teams starting that year with no shot at the title. The mavs were as bad as the sixers now for the entire 90s.

The Cavaliers and free agent Dwyane Wade are expected to talk soon, multiple league sources confirmed to the Beacon Journal, although the path to a deal remains blocked by a number of financial obstacles.

Wade had been vacationing in Spain with LeBron James, but was expected to fly back Tuesday morning. It’s unclear when the two sides will talk, but the Miami Herald reported Wade and the Miami Heat remain at an impasse regarding a new contract and multiple sources believe the relationship between the two sides is eroding.
The Cavs are happy to talk to Wade, but they don’t have a lot of options without dramatically overhauling the roster. As of now, they can only offer Wade the taxpayer’s midlevel exception worth $3.47 million. He can command more than $20 million annually from other teams in free agency.

The Cavs can’t offer Wade that much without a dramatic move, such as trading Kevin Love. Not even dumping Iman Shumpert and his $9.7 million will free up the necessary cap space to pursue Wade with anything other than the taxpayer’s midlevel.

It's not like Wade doesn't have any championships,

he's not stupid to take $4 million to stick to the Heat, when he's getting offered $20 mill a year.

Also it's kinda BS for Wade to not realize that they were going to sign Whiteside and try for Durant. How's that insulting to him? he needs teammates
