San Francisco's @abc7 @MikeShumann reported a Warriors team doctor told him that Stephen Curry has a sprained right MCL. https://twitter.com/MarcJSpearsESPN Might not really help the rockets, but they did come back last year in a highly improbable fashion.
Could be. Depends on the severity of the sprain, which tomorrow's MCL will show. A mild sprain and Curry could return in a few days. A moderate sprain and it could be 10-15 days. A severe sprain and it would be on the order of weeks.
That GS team was full of adrenaline and have a quarter where they couldn't miss, now lets see once reality hit, how they do. There is a lot of time to prepare for a Curry less GS. I see this coming back to Houston.
I'm hoping he gets better and plays in game 5! AFTER he left, the Warriors took it personal and dismantled the Rockets! Plus getting blown away WITHOUT Curry makes us look even MORE pathetic! ....... ....... .......
They've played three games this year against Houston without Curry and were a couple points away from sweeping those three games. I think they'll be fine.
Lol...The Rockets were hammered twice by the Warriors without their best player...Oh and took a big time shot by Harden to extend the series to a game 5... Its effectively over...barring another major injury for the Warriors. That is why them winning a title last year was so dangerous...bench guys now have confidence about their abilities that are artificially inflated. Talking about guys like Livingston, Speights, Clark, Rush, Ezeili...Winning does that. It gives you. They also have guys that have the ability to elevate their games to another level...Klay, Green and Iggy have shown another gear of competition.
Rest of series = 1 more game. The real concern for the Warriors is his health moving forward in the playoffs.
Called it in the injury thread as soon as I saw it. I would be surprised if he can run well for another month or so.
