Beggars can't be choosers. Roster is not as talented as everyone thought. Guys like Lawson and Brewer are not going to generate a lot of interest. Morey has pulled so many rabbits out of his hat that it's easy to assume (hope) he can keep doing it, but the cap increase makes teams less desperate to ditch contracts, which makes it more difficult to be the predator. With that out of the way, the latest incident hurts the Suns' ability to get fair value. Morris' contract is not that big, but it does extend for three more seasons, and that's enough to scare some teams away.
Considering how it backfired on Lawson, I wouldn't hold my breath on another player doing it unless they knew they'd be getting enough touches to showcase their game.
Then don't hold your breath on Morris coming here. There's no way we're gonna be stuck with his deal here for 3-years if he comes here and sucks. It's just too much risk. It's the same situation for us as Lawson was. Morey isn't going to have a boat anchor deal hanging on his books next season. In fact, if at all possible, Morey is going to clear out any potential boat anchor deals from this current roster by the trade deadline (Brewer).
I don't usually disagree w your points but this is one of them. Kieff has proven to be volatile with the FO and coaching staff. Aside from that the biggest difference between the 2 besides championship experience is the fact that no matter what you know you will get full effort from Brew. Regardless if he is slumping or not. I can't say the same thing about Morris. I'd rather let TJ walk for nothing than Kieff the next 3 years

I was at the game yesterday, and he has a terrible attitude. Even when he is playing, he is very lazy and doesn't get back on defense. Tough to say what a change in scenery could do, maybe with the right motivation and people around him, he can be very useful for us. I'm scared if does end up on the Rockets, that he ruins our chemistry even further.

Brewer for Morris would be fair. One dumbass for another. Maybe a change of scenery will do both good. But maybe not. I liked holic's idea of shipping Markieff for Brandon Jennings (if nothing else, an expiring).
