So I've been watching Running Wild with Bear Grylls and on James Marsden's episode, Bear tells him he is going to do a simultaneous repel off a 200 foot arch in a canyon, with an actor as his counterbalance. Umm, yeah I think this is pretty freakin dangerous. The kicker, the POUS is going to be on the show. LOL
He's a guy who is special ops trained, fearless and has total control of his body. Extremely dangerous, would probably take 100+ 5-year-olds to take him out.
You think I'm kidding, but the stuff he's doing with his guests on the show are pretty hairy and sure he's "safe" but all it takes is one slip up. He throw Michelle Rodriguez out of an airplane with a pack. I mean, I'm sure she had SOME experience but this **** is dangerous.
The programme saw the survival expert visit the Yorkshire Dales’ Long Churn Cave system, near Ingleton, without basic equipment, after 24 hours of non-stop rain. During the show the writer and TV presenter is seen doing a back-flip into the water at local beauty spot Stainforth Force before going into the cave system with no protective suit or helmet. He and the crew are later shown having to rush from the cave as water levels rise, with Grylls saying: “We’re in genuine danger of being swept away so, for safety, we have to switch the cameras off. “All of us make it out just in time.”
Wasnt he accused of faking the show at one point... something like he drove to a motel during when they turned off the camera. I recalled this somewhere before... not exactly sure if it was him though
I remember he had Drew Brees jump on top of a crocodile/alligator LOL...i can't believe the Saints signed off on that. Maybe they didn't have a choice.
Nobody said he hasn't faked things before. But he ain't completely bogus because he faked things before. He's doing some crazy **** with these actors and James Marsden was like trying to convince himself that Bear really is insane. Bear is getting lucky, but some of the things he is doing ARE very risky.
Id take "reality" shows with a grain of salt. I taked to someone who worked on a snd you'd be surprised at whats scripted or certain conflicts are due do "encouragements" from the producers.

I'm not a vegan by any stretch of the imagination, but I kinda thought it was disgusting to kill that croc for 2 croc steaks. It didn't need to die for that.
