Texans secondary. Rockets back court has hope with Lowry and Lee on the bench, Texans secondary has no hope and it'd be a miracle turnaround if they start to get it on track.

I'm not a big fan of Football analogies to explain the Rockets, but since we are on the subject,,,,who has the better offense, the Run-n-Shoot Oilers or Adelman's read and react...which really needs a better name, like Pass-n-Shoot or sumpin.

I always loved the way the Run & Shoot was a football phrase that basically used a Basketball dictionary.

The real answer to your question is niether, only if you understand the sports, any DB will look extreme bad without a pass rush, and any guard will look bad without a strong inside defender. All db are following their man for only so long, all guards can only stop one part of thier man' game, as long as they can get to the hoop they have no chance..

The Texans are so young and still make a play every now and then; the Rockets are what they are.

The Rockets can actually bring some good defense off the bench.

I don't know how to choose one....

but I'll say the Rockets having a bad defense doesn't surprise me in the least at this point...

the Texans I expected more of. Especially since so many picks have been spent on defensive players. We have 4 first round draft picks on that defense, and they can't stop anyone. I expected more of them. I think, like we do with the Rockets, it's simply a case of overrating our players.

I chose Rockets backcourt. We no longer have a big man problem. Now, it's time to address our crappy perimeter defense.

Hard to choose. The one difference is that this Rockets team, and backcourt specifically, is the worst defensively I've seen out of the Rockets in a long, long, long, long time.

Whereas the Texans have never really been good defensively, absent some multi-game stretches here or there.

    So the Rockets seem worse.
