Rude yes but not innapropriate. Even by Massa's account he didn't do anything sexual and they were in the Congressional showers. As far as rude being a vulnerability it didn't seem to stop Dick Cheney.
Or Rumsfeld. Guiding principle to both, more like, along with disdain for any and every audience that wasn't worshipping them.

as someone said on the radio yesterday: It's no longer ask not what your country can do for you, now it's like it's if you drop the soap in the shower, don't pick it up. That's where the level of national discourse has fallen under this administration. most ethical congress evah!
You must have missed out on what was actually said and done. Those are showers where people shower and talk politics all the time. This was nothing unusual. In the end the things Massa was talking about were the same things that have been done for decades. Those things are part of everyday politics. They weren't overly hostile, or inappropriate in any way. basso with another swing and a miss.
As I said before; people who were apologists for the last administration and their tactics have no right to lecture the Obama Administration or the recent congress.
The hypocrisy is a bit overwhelming, even for someone like me (or you, for that matter) well-accustomed to standard american political rhetoric.

Apologies for being away from the thread for so long but there are other interests. Despite Batman Jones' disbelief, I was curious about how a Democrat with an ax to grind was going to affect, or not affect, the political arena. After listening to Massa, I don't believe he will have any lasting effect at all except to further fuel the growing disdain for members of Congress.
