In the case of Ben Carson, he comes across as a truly genuine person. I think everything he says is his honest opinion. Doesn't seem as deceitful or politically skilled as guys like Ted Cruz. Not sure which is scarier. LOL
At the rate he's going with his particular brand of complete-bats***-crazy nuttery, he will not make it into the presidential cycle.
This proves what I've always suspected about Rubio: He just isn't very bright and has no chance of mounting a legitimate campaign for the GOP nomination. He's not even VP material.
My wife went to nursing school at John Hopkins and has met him. She says he is incredibly charismatic in person.
My significant other has met Cruz and has heard him speak to an audience. She says that he's surprisingly effective in that setting, being quite charismatic himself. That it doesn't come across on TV at all. Of course, she also thinks he's a loon.
or PT Barnum "There's a sucker born every minute." This one is only nutty because it's so godam blatant, like they don't even try to keep up appearances: Christie’s Office Drove Exxon Settlement, Ex-Official Says http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/05/n...html?partner=socialflow&smid=tw-nytmetro&_r=4 But when the news came that the state had reached a deal to settle its $8.9 billion claim for about $250 million, the driving force behind the settlement was not the attorney general’s office — it was Gov. Chris Christie’s chief counsel, Christopher S. Porrino, two people familiar with the negotiations said.
This is a good one Top Republican Warns Obama Might Make Black People Immune From Prosecution ‘Regardless Of The Crime’ Kansas’ Secretary of State Kris Kobach (R) told listeners of his radio show that President Obama could absolve black people of all crimes and refuse to prosecute them in the future. He also implied that Attorney General Eric Holder is a reverse racist for not applying civil rights laws to white people.
The fat lady has sung for ol' CC. If he stays out of jail, which he probably will - it looks like a lucrative Giuliani-sque perk filled life for him with only millions and millions of dollars to comfort his broken dreams.
A cliché, but it applies here. The more things change, the more they remain the same. New Jersey is spelled c-o-r-r-u-p-t-i-o-n. Christie appears to well versed on the subject.

I don't hate you, your old, cripple and going to die soon. I'm debating on spending a grand to see The Who from up close. I figure it's the last hurrah for both of us.
In 1989 I got to see The Who from the 4th row. It was a pretty awesome show. I haven't seen The Who since and have no interest last hurrah. Considering this is about the 5th or 6th last hurrah that they've had.
I have met Cruz and his family, and they are very nice people actually. At first glance, I think Cruz's courage and willingness to stand on conviction are admirable. But he lacks common sense in the realm of politics - constantly undermining GOP leadership and taking swipes at liberals won't get anything done.
Okay, I have finally seen some Republican nuttery. Voting to fund an unconstitutional amnesty plan is pure nuttery.
