Hi friend. I know you want to defend Lin and make a difference. But those same guys you keep replying to, they don't care what you say. Because they are just trolling. Doesn't matter how much sense we write, they don't care. They'll just reply back with more trolling.

Just do what I do and add them to the ignore list. Its not worth the time and effort to reply to those idiots who are just trolling. Its better to send the time on replying to the people who actually want to make real discussions.

Hey, just wanted to respond to your post about Asian fetishism because I don't want to veer too off-topic on that thread.

I think the fetishism comes from 2 main sources, both of which are interrelated.

1) Racist and simplistic notions of a mystical and feminine Asia

Asia = Geishas, massage parlors, patriarchy, shy and submissive women...

Highly tempting for Western guys who are born into a world where women are increasingly becoming their equals.

2) Asian women are more receptive to them than White women are

A guy who can only get a mediocre White woman may find that he can get an attractive Asian woman by virtue of leveraging his White privilege. And of course, Black and Latina women are out of the question because they're all welfare queens and sisters of gangbangers (/sarcasm). But Asian women are so well-behaved!

And thus, a "preference" is born.

I think it's good/nice that you speak up. Your posts sound reasonable to me.
