IIRC, Williams' team in China are the top seed in the playoffs and have to replace him with DLeaguer Donald Sloan. Williams asked out on the basis of some sort of family member illness. Guess whatever the reason is doesn't prevent him from playing for and traveling with the Celtics. edit: the reason given was "death in the family." Guess Terrence's family is done dying for now. http://www.yardbarker.com/college_f...ce_williams_leaves_pro_team_in_china/12899374
Nothing new. He still thinks the world is out to get him. Life is hard when you're the only person who recognizes your own worth.
inb4 coachbadlee uses this as an example of the Rockets not giving players a chance. He'll say something like, "he's going to a contender" when in fact, the Rockets have a better record than the Celtics.
I knew he'd end up back in the NBA at some point, but the Celtics dont seem like a great fit on the basketball court (in the locker room yes). I just dont see this guy finding a role in a grind it out style of game. He needs ball movement and to get out and run. Unless he's going to be the one they use on the ball to create (which I doubt with a 10 day contract player) he's going to be pretty useless on the wing as a jump shooter. To the T-Will fans out there: I would temper my expectations...
