We don't know the details yet, but I'd assume that Bzdelik wasn't sure about returning like Feigen says. And no, Bzdelik did not all of a sudden make us a better defensive team. We started to get some solid players, stopped playing Melo and committed. Sure, his return was good considering the situation we were in and players used it as motivation. Had Bzdelik been there from the start, I don't think it would've made us a much better defensive team.
This will most likely not happen. Thibs may never want be an assistant again. Also, D’Antoni already turned Thibs down being an assistant once when he was with the Suns. I just don’t see it.
What's wrong with Hollins? We almost hired him as defensive coordinator when we were looking at Silas as a head coaching candidate.
What an asinine move!!!!!! We saw the defense without Bzdelik to start the year... but I suppose that will all be blamed on Melo to... Time to get rid of MDA then... A) We dont run his offense.... B) Clueless on defense.... C) Hasnt been able to advance us further than McHale did - and McFail sucked.... I would begrudgingly endure MDA with Bzdelik around for the defensive end of the court... but without Bzdelkik we may as well get a coach that knows both ends of the court...
