Yeah, he has to be smart to even get in to Harvard. One of my best friends got his MBA from there, and it ain't easy to get accepted. My S.O. and I helped to write his application. The question is, can he play and contribute to the Rocks?
The Rockets must be thinking they'll probably ship either Flynn or Dragic in a package. Lin is given a chance to be the replacement as the 3rd PG. I think Lin has a decent chance of making in the NBA. He's just buried deep in GS's bench.
So your point is Taiwanese do not speak Chinese? FYI Taiwan is named Republic of China. But he is American unless someone says otherwise. This is nothing political His fan base would be Chinese American logically.
I wanna see Flynn play. got some moves i don't know...Gragic to and can shoot...wonder what the rocket is up to..they're obviously doing something.
His parents are from Taiwan, his grandparents are from China. People who only claim that he is only "Taiwanese" don't really know much about him.
Yeah, it looks that way. I was surprised that GS waived the guy. I'm hoping he'll end up being a decent addition.
Yi actually opted out, he's currently not in the CBA because he's trying to pursue a NBA contract. He had a clause that allowed him to opt-out, which did not apply to the other NBA players that signed in the CBA.
I've been watching Lin play since his harvard days. Trust me the kid goes hard. He's got good basketball IQ and is a beast on defense. He's also really developed his outside shot over the summer. Check out his per 48 min stats last year. Steals per 48 minutes: JLin - 2nd in entire league @ 5.56 DRose 225th in entire league @ 1.35 Blocks per 48 minutes: JLin - 1st for all point guards @ 1.52 DRose - 5th for all point guards @ .81 Rebounds per 48 minutes: JLin - 10th for all point guards @ 5.7 DRose - 22nd for all point guards @ 5.2 Assist to TO Ratio: JLin - 35th for all point guards @ 2.33 DRose - 40th for all point guards @ 2.24
