[Ringer] Can you build a super team to beat the Warriors?

Call me crazy but I think the Timberwolves are going to very good. That is the team that will be able to beat the Warriors in a couple of years.

 

You're crazy. The Wolves have some very good young talent, but they won 29 games last season. They're way more than two seasons away from being able to compete with the Warriors barring some major acquisitions between now and then or the Warriors losing some key pieces.

I think you need to have Lebron on any of these teams. He's the ultimate equalizer. The key is to surround him with 3 and D guys and a rebounding/defensive big. Kawhi is the best 3 and D player not on the Warriors. The guards are a bit shaky but they have all been elite defensive wings their career and can shoot. I wish I had one more dollar to replace Thompson with Gobert but Thompson actually has game tape proof that he can abuse the Warriors with his rebounding.

Sorry, to me this is impossible b/c of the $ limit. GS got to short-circuit this by having Curry at half-price and Green at about 1/8 price.

So unless we get the same luck, it's not really possible, IMHO.
