How did the nuggets implode so bad? It's like there was an Ebola outbreak there or something. Now the team is fighting for the scraps.

There has been rumors of problems at the top of that organization for years. Nuggets4 used to post about it often. It appears as though those years of problems and disagreements finally came to a head. GM bolted. Coach fired. Players jumping ship.

Were I Nate Robinson, or any other player, the ONLY way I'd consider playing in Denver right now is if they are offering substantially more money than any other team.

Sad tbh, they had the biggest upside last year.

Nate with a one-year deal (or two years with a team option) might be OK. But with a rookie coach and no strong lockerroom leadership from the players, he could be a problem on the Nuggets.

Never will be scared of the Nuggets. When you lack a star, you have absolutely no chance to win a title.

Yes, even that Pistons teams had stars.

It is sad. But I would disagree they had the biggest upside. I didn't see them going anywhere. They were capped out and hadn't a single star.

Teams like the Rockets and Warriors had a lot more room to grow.

Were they stars before or after they won the title?

Looked like a legitimate rising wildcard-contender that just brutalized teams with pure athleticism. The one team I didnt like the Rockets playing because they were in such good shape they just man-handled people.

The implosion may be one of the most under-reported big stories of this off-season.

I would like HOU to sign Nate to a 2 year deal 2nd year not guaranteed. Could use him as a 6th man Nate was great against the Heat in playoffs.

No way. To play superman and kryptonate in one team would be disastrous. Superman would be weak, lol.

Joking aside, i am surprised he isnt offered something by the bulls?

Looking at the current bench, there is no scoring punch, no one that can give rox 10 ppg. Assuming the the current roster stands, I shudder to think a 2nd unit of Beverly, Garcia, Caspi, DMO and Asik comes in....

    Hopefully Morey steal him.

Thats part what the Reggie Wlliams signing is SUPPOSED to be, someone who (earlier in his career, not recently) can dump in a few points. Who did his best in a fast paced system.

And Caanan is supposed to be the team's Nate Robinson sooner or later. Rockets let go Aaron Brooks for money reasons, but coulda also kept him if that role was that important to them.

As it stands, Nate would be the team's 3rd point guard, its kind of a luxury instead of necessity. Williams makes sense as shooting guard/wing to balance the roster.

Don't count out Motiejunas as a scoring option though. His problem wasn't offense, it was defense and consistency. With confidence from coaches and a more defined role, he's capable on offense.

(What you say there is actually why Jeremy Lin would be a nice 6th man on the Rockets. It probably won't happen but it makes so much sense.)

Nuggets were never a real threat. No superstar, not going anywhere. They didn't have the experience of the 04 Pistons either.
