I'm sure he knows many schemes as far as applying them in games... he may not have the balls to make Westbrook and Harden go through with them as needed. Looks like the Rockets just play street ball most of the time.

 

See this the problem here on this board, a lot of you don't even bother to try and learn. You don't know why we run the system we do or what kind of actions we run. You just go off your eye test without doing any research. Cmon guys, do a little bit better if you want your opinion to be taken seriously.

Not sure, but I thought you used to be a positive guy. Maybe this is a sarcastic post, but I've seen your "articles" in the Astros forum as well. You seem to have a pessimistic view point of both teams. Not sure what made you change your positive ways, but fix it, we need ya!

 

Lol it's 2020 even your most uneducated fan that has never played the game of basketball knows what the Rockets do most of the game. Is it really a secret that we run a 5 out offense with pick and rolls with Jeff Green? No reason to sit up here and go through play by play what they do because honestly I can tell you 90 percent of the time where they are going with the ball on offense at any given time especially when the offense is super ISO centric. So F trying to make this a educational class of what the Rockets do when what they are doing is taking a bunch of ill advised shots and heavily relying on 2 to 3 players to be freakin Michael Jordan darn near every possession. A blind man can see that BS... and we happen to be going against a team that has a leader that we know that actually manages his team effectively and efficiently in sets that makes sense for each players talent level and gifts.

I tell you what we better play a lot smarter than what we've been playing. Cut down on the turnovers that just plain come from laziness or trying to be the ISO superman. We are still playing in 2's as a team versus 3's as a team. If you don't know what that means it's when you move the ball twice in most offensive possessions versus 3 times or more to get the best shot available within a possession. We are still at the point where we are not getting most of our shots in rhythm... but that's alright we have a game Tuesday and we will see what we do and how we play.

These are all just variations off the main things I mentioned they already do. They just gave them prettier names but ok. It's the playoffs so more than likely everyone knows what everyone is already doing. There won't be any big surprises. It's all about the team that wants it more and will do EVERYTHING it takes to come out on the winning side. Hopefully that's us.

 

I just hope CP doesnt kill us. Will be a hard series, hope we cone out of it victoriously. Have doubts about that tho.

 

D'Antoni is best in the business with ATO sets.

Watch the plays after ATO's, our execution is flawless.

Dribble hand offs, thru holds, Horns, wing iso w/dummy action, slip screens, flares, pin downs, etc. are not the same as generic PnR or Iso.

 

Semi open look, the Celtic seemed to be a scrub but he closes out to him pretty well.
