Finished 2 episodes of "High Score" on Netflix. I think everyone from the "favorite arcade game" thread will like this docu series.
Shameless season 9 & 10 on Netflix. The Kevin scenes where he becomes the old guy on the basketball court that no one passes to hit me right in the feels.
Finished the most recent season of Endeavor. I really enjoy the British detective genre. Can't wait for another season of Sherlock (assuming it is coming back one day).
I enjoy Endeavor as well was not really feeling the last season I figured out the 2nd villain pretty early. I thought they also needed to explore the fractured relationship deeper, it all seemed kind of rushed. Looking forward to this.
Looking for New Stuff. The Boys comes out next few weeks right? No Plans to see New Mutants Rocket River
September 4th, which is next Friday. A little further out (September 25th) but also want to see this on Prime:
You sir are a scholar and a gentleman Just finished the most recent season of Lucifer - Season 5 I think and I hate Cliff hangers Rocket River
Started the new season of Lucifer. I had really been looking forward to the release since it ended, silly devilish fun. 1 episode in and I don't know if I should continue on principle alone. Hollywood and their " I have a twin replica" plot hole filler needs to go. There is another show about 2 hotties from the 90's that become friends after a questionable car accident, the twin plot line made me not continue.
I hated that ending. I finished the first season of Biohackers. Interesting concept, kind of teenagery in the execution. The last 15 seconds of the final episode were probably the best of the entire season. Waiting on season 2 of The Society. Another interesting concept but teenagery. .
I saw that on my feed and it looked interesting I finished Umbrella Academy and DARK - Those were good Dark was confusing AF Rocket River
There is another show called The Rain on Netflix with Danish? subtitles. Same thing, interesting concept with teenagery themes. I couldn't get through Umbrella Academy, I'll have to try again.
Anyone besides me see Philip Kaufman’s The Wanderers when it came out in 1979? Saw an excellent write up about it in the BBC film section (BBC is terrific for all sorts of things) and realized it had been a longtime since I had seen it. So I looked around and Amazon Prime has it for $3.99, as well as YouTube Movies for $2.99. The film takes place in 1963, a year that dramatically changed the country’s future. It’s about some gangs in the Bronx, sort of a comedy/drama, with a young Karen Allen, Ken Wahl, and a host of really good lesser known actors. See it, and if you want more of a recommendation, read the BBC article about it. The film is considered a cult classic, which doesn’t really do it justice.
