The Mavs have so many weapons. How many players on that team has been an all-star? 5?

Mavs have too many options. It'll be between the Lakers, Nuggets, and Mavs for the finals. I might even take the Nuggets out since it seems they haven't really gotten better from last season.

Down 6 with 15 seconds left, you should go ahead and foul. Its the playoffs!

that's what i was thinking. i usually like how pro teams don't foul down 23 with 8 seconds left like college teams do, but 6 points is some missed ft's and a turnover from being a miraculous comeback. gotta at least try it.

certainly seems like the spurs are in trouble considering how well manu and duncan both shot.

i don't know what pop see's in bonner the guy almost has bad as scalbrine. dirk is really good but the way he abused bonner he looked like a 7ft MJ.

Bogans, mason, and RJ are all useless. if one of these guy's don't score in double figures SA might be done in 5.

I HATE the FAGRICKS can't stand them winning.

Dirk is just better than tim duncan at this point. Duncan had a good game, but I would like to believe duncan a few year ago was a better defensive player.

I've come to the conclusion he's trolling. He wants Boozer and he's supported KG's elbow and now likes Dirk.

How come Dallas could assemble a team filled with talents so quickly? Dirk, Kidd, Butler, Terry, Marion, Thomas, and Haywood. Sigh, when can Rockets stack the roster with tall, young, and athletic players?

because les alexander is cheap, he was not willing to take on butler's expensive contract nor iguadala's absurd contract

What have Butler or Iguodala done in their careers? The Mavs aint going nowhere if Dirk is their cornerstone. Their too soft and have underachieved throughout their whole careers.

Not after the trade. Kidd brings toughness to the team. Haywood brings toughness inside. Marion brings a wing defender. Carlisle also brings in toughness.

Also, Dirk does not have to carry the load anymore. Kidd will be the court general now. Dirk just has to concentrate on scoring, and even when he is not on, he will have help from Terry and Butler to share the load on offense.

They are not invincible. However they are legitimate contenders and are the team that is going to challenge the Lakers in the Western conference.

Naw, While I do see them as threats against the Lakers, they won't win a 7 game series against them. Even with the addition of Haywood, the Mavs don't have any answers for Gasol or Bynum. Gasol would matchup well against Dirk. Marion and Butler, while good defenders, just aren't quick enough to guard Kobe one on one.

They went to the finals with dirk as their corner stone. Dirk will go down as a top 10 player of this era.
