Not a fan.. I haven't had one in years but last I remember they were too dry and crumbly for my taste. I rarely eat McDonalds but about the only thing I do like there is the egg McMuffin.
They're good. I often the get the Sausage McMuffin instead if I have to eat while I'm in the car, because it holds together better. Either one + a yogurt parfait + a cup of black coffee is my often go-to breakfast when I'm out, and I want to keep things simple yet substantial.
I ****ing hate them. Know why? One of my first jobs was at McDonalds making biscuits. I would have to be at McDonalds at 530am (in the Summer) for minimum wage to make biscuits. I would come home reeking of grease and biscuits. Worst job I ever had. I hated them so much that I hated Limp Bizkit when I first heard the band name. ..... I did get compliments daily because I was so ****ing good at making them biscuits. I owned those biscuits.
mcdonald's is one of my fav in-a-hurry food while driving late to work. also their mcnuggets is teh tiddies. wasn't there like a 50 nuggets for something cheap like $10 or something. used to get those for rox games at home.
Yeah, take the dough out of the bag. Here's secret #1: put some flour on the stainless steel table, kneed it the appropriate amount of time that I have forgotten because it was early in the morning over 30 years ago, cut it with the biscuit cutter, throw it in the oven, press the 'biscuit' button. Take the biscuits out, secret #2: grab your butter-like-substance, dip the butter brush in the butter-like-substance, spread on the top liberally. TLDR: Kneading and liberal butter. The best things in life take work and are messy.

It's not rocket medicine, they can't make it complicated. The high mental acuity standards of my fellow McDonalds workers are why I loved it so much.
I agree for the most part but a great biscuit is better than a good croissant in my opinion, it's the texture.
What is the best frozen biscuit? Are there any others besides the Pillsbury type that I should look out for? Flaky or homestyle? Flaky for me but from scratch homestyle.
